Fusion Wedding Photography

Although it’s still spring, Carla & Andy’s wedding at Ullet Road Unitarian Church had the feeling of being the first wedding of the summer. I started the day at their home in Liverpool to capture the bridal party getting ready, while Nick (filling in for Sarah after a minor op) captured team groom. Carla had made a last minute decision to upgrade to our Fusion package. This includes a film shown on our big screen before the first dance. The film contains stills as well as video footage from the marriage ceremony, and is also supplied on USB stick along with around 40 full resolution digital images. The rest of the photographs from the day are processed after the wedding and supplied later on of course.

Getting Ready

Carla and Andy’s home was a great setting for the girls to get ready, with a light and spacious open plan kitchen.

Ullet Road Unitarian Church

The city’s Unitarian congregation goes back to 1689. Eventually building Ullet Road Unitarian Church in 1899 and the hall in 1902. Famous Liverpudlian Unitarians include the Holt and Booth families, famous ship owners, as well as Henry Tate, founder of the sugar company, and William Rathbone MP, who campaigned for the establishment of the University of Liverpool. The gothic church itself is one of the largest in Liverpool, with a long aisle, and the church hall is very popular for wedding receptions.

Portrait photographs in Sefton Park

Ullet Road Unitarian Church is just a few hundred yards from Sefton Park. Was a wedding photographer, it’s one of my favourite places in Liverpool. The group photographs of friends and family at the church, took about 20 minutes. After that I took Carla and Andy for a short stroll to the park.
